Have Girls' Night at This Hotel & Get a Kimono
The Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo has a perfect package plan this summer just for the ladies: the “Girls Yukata Stay.” Included in the package price is a yukata, a light summer kimono, which is yours to keep! You get to choose which one you like best from a number of different styles and patterns, from mellow and natural to bright and colorful.
Everything needed to bring the outfit together is included in the seven-piece yukata set, from the koshi-himo ties and obi sash to wear around your waist, to wooden geta sandals and a little storage bag to help carry your small items with you.
Also included in the package plan is a pastel colored bath bomb in the summery-sweet shape of an ice cream bar, plus either a buffet breakfast or lunch at the hotel’s restaurant Dining Ferio. All of this starts at the reasonable price of ¥13,500 (US$122) per person.
If you’re wanting to go all out, there are additional options to choose from, starting with a basic yukata fitting at the Shiseido beauty salon on the hotel’s fourth floor. You can also get your hair styled or have a gel manicure for special prices limited only to those selecting the yukata-fitting plan.
There are parks, gardens, and temples within a short walking distance from the hotel, perfect for spending time in after getting dolled up in your yukata. Or if you’d prefer some more fast-paced entertainment, the bustling neighborhoods of Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are just a 15-minute train ride away too.
Rooms can accommodate two people in a twin-sized room, or from three to five in a junior suite. The package plan runs all summer long, from July 1 to September 30, 2017, so get your girlfriends together for some fun and pampering to help beat the sweltering summer heat!
