You can watch the music video here. But be warned, once you’ve listened to it you can never unhear it, and it may be subconsciously playing in your head for days to come.

The song is performed by “DJ Piko-Taro,” a character that was created by 40-year-old Kosaka Daimou during his live shows. "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen" has all the elements of a viral hit—
catchy tune, nonsensical lyrics, and a ridiculous full body animal print outfit with matching scarf.

The video has already been played over 26 million times on DJ Piko-Taro’s official YouTube channel, but it has been reposted on several other channels. For example, 9GAG has reposted the video and amassed over 25 million views.

Piko-Taro has even gone to the trouble of giving us a lesson on how to do the "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen" dance—with English subtitles.
