Grab a Cupful of Kitty-Chan

Sweets Convenience Stores Sanrio

Hina Matsuri, also known as Girls’ Day, is always celebrated on March 3. And young girls aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the day, thanks to limited-edition Hello Kitty sweets available only at Ministop, one of Japan’s many nationwide convenience stores.

The sweets, which come in cups featuring our favorite anthropomorphic cat wearing a charming kimono, will be available for purchase throughout Japan from February 27 to March 2, 2016. The cups will set you back ¥480 (about US$4.28) and come in two flavors: peach and matcha (green tea).

The peach version features Kitty in a pink kimono with a cup of peach milk mousse with whipped cream and peach sauce on top. The matcha version has Kitty-chan wearing a green kimono with a cup of matcha milk mousse, whipped cream, and matcha sauce. Now, the only real question is: how many do you think you can eat during the limited-time promotion?
