This stunning life-sized model was created by a team at Konno Konpou, a packing company in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. Made entirely from cardboard (damboru in Japanese), the car is known as the “Damborghini.”

Modeled on the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, the vehicle contains 500 individual cardboard pieces and was six months in the making. With no fancy interior or working doors, the group concentrated on re-creating the streamlined body of the iconic sports car, with some impressive attention to detail right down to the hood emblem.

Despite purchase requests from impressed car enthusiasts, the company has no plans to release the model commercially any time soon. For our part, we’d like to see them open a special dealership with rows of cardboard vehicles for customers to choose from—they’ll just have to make sure everything’s under cover in case it rains!
