In addition to being home to the major port city of Yokohama and the famed hot springs of Hakone, Kanagawa has developed a number of distinctive crafts that are unique to the region.

Travelin' Boots' Ada Wilkinson hit the Little Prince Museum in Hakone. Sadly, she didn't come back with one of the museum's plush toys of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant, but she did return with a beautiful photo tour of an adorable location.

While these Kanagawa onsen and their surrounds are certainly worth an overnight stay, each can work equally as well as a day trip.
