Flowers in Full Boom at Tokyo German Village
Not far from the big city itself lies Tokyo German Village, an amusement park that opened in 2001. Though many visitors have likely never heard of this countryside attraction, it encompasses an area approximately 19 times the size of the Tokyo Dome! One of its biggest highlights are the seasonal flowers blooming throughout the year.
Right now, the Celosias are in full bloom. The flowers are also known as cockscomb, since their unique shape is said to resemble a rooster’s crest. About 15,000 celosias are planted on this hill, covering an area of around 3,800 square meters! It makes for a very vibrant and colorful autumn.
