Kyoto Animation Unveils First Film Since Arson
Kyoto Animation unveiled their newest film on Friday, September 18. Violet Evergarden is their first feature-length production since the arson attack in July, 2019, that claimed the lives of 36 people.

The work has been in production for some time, with the animation studio initially eyeing a release in January. The date had to be postponed twice, first due to the attack and then because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
