Tsushima Shrine Gate Crumbles in Typhoon
A stone gate at a shrine in southwestern Japan has crumbled as Typhoon Haishen passed nearby. Although very little rain fell on Tsushima, strong winds lashed the island, causing considerable damage.

In this video taken five days ago, the gate furthest away was still standing, but as of Monday, September 7, the shrine priest found the structure collapsed.
