Customers take out what they want to buy and put the money in a box. The cost for a pack of 36 dumplings is ¥1,000 (about US$9.50). Unmanned stores like this one are increasing as the food service industry scrambles to put anti-coronavirus measures in place. An official of the Yukimatsu gyoza chain said customers can make purchases without getting into contact with anyone.
