Drivers can operate the door locks and the air conditioner using a smartphone app. The “Honda e” has no side-view mirrors and instead displays the rear areas on monitors in front of the driver’s seat.

Honda will release the model on October 30, with prices starting at 4.51 million yen (about 42,600 dollars).
