Wild Deer Captured in Tokyo
Police and firefighters managed Wednesday to capture a wild deer that had been spotted along the banks of a Tokyo river. They tried to catch the animal Tuesday but failed in the attempt.

As spectators looked on, they prepared numerous nets and equipment and waited. The deer finally came out of the bushes when they used the net to take hold of it. Officials of Adachi Ward said they will temporarily keep the creature at a local facility and consider future actions.
