Japan’s Government Policy Regarding Corona
Japan’s government on Tuesday announced a basic policy to help fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The policy calls for people to stay at home if they develop cold-like symptoms such as a fever, and urges companies to allow employees to telecommute. People with mild symptoms are being asked to treat themselves at home so that hospitals will be available for people with severe symptoms. Officials are not asking for major events to be cancelled, but are urging organizers to reconsider the importance of each event.
