All-Star Kabuki at Kyoto's Minamiza Theatre
Kabuki fans are flocking to Minamiza Theatre in Kyoto for its annual all-star plays. “Kaomise Kogyo” is the start of the kabuki season, and famous actors from Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka are on stage.

Hidetaro Kataoka and son Ainosuke are performing together in “Terutora Haizen,” a samurai story. While Toujuro Sakata is performing in the play “Kinkakuji,” or “The Golden Pavilion,” with his son Kanjiro Nakamura and grandson Ichitaro. It's kabuki fun for the whole family
Kaomise Kogyo will run until December 26, 2019.
