Sure there are no train or bus options to Okinawa from Kansai, but that doesn't mean you need to break the bank for a beach getaway this summer. There are plenty of flights through Low-Cost Carriers (LCC) that are available from the various airports in Kansai that could get you there with plenty of cash left to splurge. 5. Skymark Airlines
Skymark Airlines is another LCC that operates out of Kobe Airport. They recently had some financial trouble but have since made a comeback and offer flights semi-regularly to Okinawa. Due to the convenience of the airport from which it departs, it might be worth checking their prices out to see if you can fly out on a budget.
