Here’s another koyo (autumn foliage) video by Discover Nippon, this time highlighting a famous stretch of road in central Tokyo. The 300-meter (328-yard) “Ginkgo Road” connects Aoyama Dori with Meiji Jingu Gaien and is lined with majestic ginkgo trees that explode every autumn into an amazing display of bright yellow leaves.

True Tokyoites know that the (admittedly rather rancid) smell of ginkgo seeds is one of the harbingers of autumn in the city. This clip allows you to enjoy the beautiful colors without the olfactory intrusion!
