Yugawara Mixes Halloween & Motorcycles

2016 marks the second time around for Yugawara's local Halloween events. In addition to a costume contest, patrol cars will lead a parade of motorcycles and brightly painted cars through the mountains and town. With many people coming to participate and party, feel free to join in with your family and friends!
1. Yugawara Halloween 2016

The costume contests will be held on October 30th, 2016. This year there will be two contests: one for children and one for adults. The winner of the adult costume contest will receive a prize of ¥100,000! There will be plenty of festival food stands as well, so you're sure to have a great time win or lose!

2. Yuga-Tsu (Yugawara Hot Spring Touring)

Yuga-Tsu (short for Yugawara Hot Spring Touring) will be held on October 29th, 2016, the evening before the Halloween contest festivities. Yuga-Tsu is a unique Halloween/cosplay/motorcycle event, featuring motorcycle enthusiasts and cosplayers, as well as cars brightly decorated with anime images, known as itasha. At 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) in length, this year's parade will be five times longer than last year's! Check out the organizers' website below for details!
