100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience is a 68-minute documentary by Brad Crawford, produced by his company Strata Studios, on the history and evolution of game arcades in Japan. Interviewing and filming hundreds of arcade gamers, he dives deep into arcade culture.

The website and trailer (above) were released in 2012 in hopes of raising capital for post-production and promotion of the film. Focusing on shooting, fighting and rhythm games, 100 Yen explores the culture and evolution of arcades in Japan as well as in Canada and the U.S.
