One of the rites of passage for Japanese kids entering elementary school is the receipt of their randoseru. Parents will typically spend several hundred dollars (U.S.) on these leather backpacks, which are pricey but used throughout all six years of elementary school.

In recent years, these uniquely stylish backpacks have become something of a fashion icon overseas. But a new, never-before-seen collaboration between the Andy Warhol Foundation and Japanese bag-maker Ikeda Chikyu is putting an artsy twist on the utilitarian kids' bags, releasing a line of randoseru with prints from the iconic pop-artist.

Visit Spoon & Tamago below and find out which art prints were selected and where you can buy one!
