Feeling peckish? True Japanophiles know that the country boasts some of the world’s most famous competitive eaters in the likes of Takeru Kobayashi and Gal Sone, but these colossal dishes could give even the hungriest ogui (big eater) a run for his money!

Part of WAORYU TV’s “Only in Japan” series, this video follows two ravenous reporters to Kaguragazaka Hanten in central Tokyo, an unassuming mom-and-pop restaurant notorious for oversized menu items such as Triple Jumbo Ramen and the fearsome Jumbo Gyoza (which must be ordered two days in advance).
