Spoiler alert: I don’t like living in Tokyo (a lot of the time). It’s too crowded and too expensive. I’m not suited for this kind of “high paced” life. So far, I’ve lived almost two years in Tokyo, one year in Sapporo, three months in Hyogo, and four months in Ibaraki. I’ve seen a lot of Japan—and decided that living in Tokyo doesn’t work for me.

We will still live here for the next couple years; hopefully Ryosuke will get transferred out of the city. In the meantime, we spent one weekend a month out in Ibaraki with his parents.
